There are opportunities to photograph just about anything we have a creative flare for. Like writers, musicians and painters, photographers often have a vision or idea in their minds, and they’ll only feel whole by executing said idea. Oftentimes we are plagued by this concept until the creative takes place.

One such concept of shooting an abandoned building comes to my mind, and with it an excitement so palpable, I know it’s one I won’t soon forget. With that in mind, and the shoot now complete, I thought I would share some tips and observations I had during this fulfilling photographic project …
