    The North american beaver has been the first and the most important canadian natural resource back when the economy was based on fur trade.
    When beaver got more scarse hunters and trappers went further north and elaborated fort and trade routes that helped prepared the development of Canada.
    Beaver skin has been the essential part of the relations between first nations and european settlers.
    For this we owe beavers respect !
