How to Judge the contest:

Technical points (max 3)

1 point for good composition. Composition is a sense of order in the image which enhances your subject. Is it clear to the viewer what the subject is?

1 point for focus. The use of focus enhances your subject. The subject must be razor sharp.

1 point for proper exposure.

Creative element points (max 2)

1 point for creativeness.

1 point for the overall WOW factor. Does the image make you go WOW!?

A perfect image (which is harder to achieve than it sounds) has all technical and creative elements scored (5).

For each technical or creative element that is weak or missing altogether points are lost for each. We do not give out 0 so the lowest score possible is 1.

The image must represent the theme of Outdoor Photography Canada magazine (Canadian outdoor image: Macro Photography)

Voting will continue until May 10, 2010.
