I do not know if it my computer but I cannot locate anything on this new site - cannot find the photo gallery or where or how to upload photos into the Nov contest. I thought I was going crazy since it was all so easy in October. Now I cannot find or do anything. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Cathie,

It is not likely your computer. The photo galleries are down at present and we are working to bring them up for the new contest starts. Currently we have the 2010 Fall photo contest up and images are beginning to appear. The readers pick and nov editor's assignment will be announced early next week. These contests will also behave much like the fall contest running now. You will be able to upload your image, vote on your peers images and leave comments. Please make sure you are logged in, however, when you do it.

Sorry but the images from the previous readers pick and editors assignments are not imported into the new site. We will be keeping images that are currently uploaded on the site as an archive of some sort as we move forward.

The readers pick contest is closed now and I am judging it. The new reader's pick contest will launch next week on the new site and should work better than the previous gallery posting system we had.

First impression

WOW.

This is a nice leap forward, forum is easier to see what's going on and your more likely to dive (just like right now for me!), the samples of photos from the contests are a nice touch though I'd like to see the last one I posted up there so I'll have to work on that, but overall it has a more refined by your at home feel. Good work bringing it up to par with the quality of the magazine.
