Hello All- I'm a Canadian Wildlife and Nature Photographer based in Ontario.
I was wondering if anyone has information on any sites that offer free watermarking. Preferably not limited trials or sites that requires downloading. I would like to be able to control the size, placement and color.
Maybe I'm asking for the world.
Any insight you can offer would be appreciated.
My webhost has this option....which I use for images posted to my website.
I would like to be able to post elsewhere as well with watermarked images.
Thanks
Watermarking
A free alternative is gimp. http://www.gimp.org You can get versions for all platforms and there is even a script to watermark (and resize) in a batch mode if you needed. http://registry.gimp.org/node/21834
Of course as you use Elements 6 you can just dig a bit and use the inbuilt feature to batch watermark. http://marinagarrison.blogspot.com/2007/10/elements-6-batch-watermarking.html
Best of luck
Watermarking Images
Hello-
Thanks for your suggestion. I use Elements 6.
re: free trial are you able to watermark and save the watermark image after the free trial expires. I have limited space on my computer.
Thanks

Not quite what you're asking
Not quite what you're asking for, but, I downloaded the 30 day trial of Photoshop and created my watermark file, and saved it to be used with Aperture. Now I can choose to add the watermark to any photos that I export with the option to place it in certain areas of the photo as well as control the size of it. It's not perfect, but good enough for my needs. What software are you using?
