I did spend quite a bit of time at this marsh NW of St Albert, Alberta.  On this day, a very stong wind came up (before the storm started) and this male Yellow-Headed Blackbird (Xanthocephalus xanthocephalus) has the wind at his back.  Hence the lifted feathers on his back.
