2010 submission guidelines - Photography

You may submit duplicate slides (35mm, medium format, 4"x5" transparencies), 
up to 8"x10" prints (un-mounted) or digital files. Please do not submit negatives, they will be
 returned without consideration.

Submission can be sent via email only as a link to your website or gallery page for viewing. Please do not send individual images through email. Electronic submission may be sent to: editor@outdoorphotographycanada.com

A NOTE ON DIGITAL FILES

Initial submission may be low resolution for selection purposes. Once accepted for publication, all digital files must 
be submitted on either CD, DVD or FTP at 300 dpi 8.125” on the horizontal axis or 300dpi 10.75” on the vertical axis once selection is approved. Each CD or DVD must be 
accompanied by hard copy thumbnail images which are to be no smaller than 2"x3" 
or closest crop to that.

A NOTE ON SUBMISSIONS

When returning materials to a contributor, the class of mail will be determined by the 
amount of postage provided for on the SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) 
enclosed with the submission. DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL SLIDES. SUBMIT DUPES ONLY. If you decide to send 
original material, you do so at your own risk. Outdoor Photography Canada takes the
 utmost care with regard to photos and materials sent to us, however, Outdoor 
Photography Canada and its employees accept no responsibility, financial or other, 
for lost or damaged photographic materials.

Rights

Outdoor Photography Canada only purchases First North American rights to images 
for one-time use in print and on its website. Only previously unpublished work will be
 considered.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Outdoor Photography Canada assumes no responsibility for solicited or unsolicited 
contribution materials unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Outdoor Photography
 Canada does not automatically accept or agree to the conditions printed on delivery 
memos, packing slips or related correspondence as they are provided without our prior 
knowledge when accompanied by submission materials. Outdoor Photography 
Canada does not accept that any and all transparencies or negatives are automatically
 worth a minimum of any value. We make a policy of not accepting original material and
 any original material sent to us is at the photographer's risk. This policy is for your 
protection as well as ours. Payment for editorial and or photography will be made
 within 30 days after publication of those materials in the magazine.

Thank you for your submissions. Outdoor Photography Canada, with your 
support and contributions, will remain the most sought after outdoor photography 
magazine in Canada.
